Provide Iftar Meals to Families in Need

During the blessed month of Ramadan, a time of compassion, generosity, and spiritual reflection, Umoja Helping Hearts Uganda supports vulnerable communities by distributing Iftar meals and essential food packages. Ramadan is a sacred period when Muslims fast from dawn until sunset, and breaking the fast with a nourishing meal is an important moment each day. Unfortunately, many families living in poverty struggle to afford even a simple meal to break their fast.

Each Ramadan, Umoja Helping Hearts Uganda works with dedicated volunteers and partners to prepare and distribute freshly cooked Iftar meals and food parcels to those in need. Our beneficiaries include vulnerable families, orphaned children, widows, elderly individuals, and people facing economic hardship across different communities in Uganda. We deliver support to both rural and urban areas where hunger makes fasting especially challenging.

Through this program, we aim to reduce hunger, restore dignity, and share the true spirit of Ramadan by ensuring that families can break their fast with hope and dignity.
