The Wakiso Muslim District Council, led by the District Kadhi, Sheikh Elias Kigozi, successfully concluded his three-month tour of all 12 sub-counties (Amatwale) on 31 July 2026.
The purpose of the tour was to educate and inspire communities on development, self-reliance, and positive mindset transformation. Throughout the visits, Sheikh Elias Kigozi encouraged residents to embrace unity, community development, and initiatives that improve their livelihoods.
The District Kadhi and his cabinet received a warm welcome in all 12 sub-counties (Amatwale), reflecting the strong relationship between the district leadership and the Muslim communities. The successful completion of the tour marks an important milestone in promoting sustainable development and strengthening cooperation across the Wakiso Muslim District.
